Anchor Bar, Carrickfergus – Restoration.
Undertaking the restoration of a building in significant disrepair, such as the historic Anchor Bar, presents unique challenges. However, at BEAM, we are well-versed in the complexities that come with refurbishing older and heritage structures.
For this project, we delivered a comprehensive restoration programme, including the installation of a new roof, windows, and a high-performance Weber render system featuring a stabilising membrane and silicone topcoat, ensuring long-term durability and protection of the building envelope.
What was once a derelict and abandoned site has been successfully transformed into a vibrant community hub for our friends at Carrickfergus Congregational Church. We are proud to have played a part in preserving a piece of local history while breathing new life into a much-loved landmark.
